Information for job candidates.

Information on the processing of personal data of candidates for employment or work at L-Tek d.o.o., Cesta Miloša Kovačiča 2, 8310 Šentjernej

L-Tek d.o.o. cares for your privacy and commits to processing your personal data in accordance with fair data handling and applicable personal data protection legislation. The following information is provided for job candidates at L-Tek d.o.o.

How do we obtain your personal data?

You will entrust us with your personal data either when applying for a published job vacancy; as a completed e-form or in writing to our address.

In case of application for a published job vacancy, we will ask you to provide the following personal data: • Basic information (name, surname, date of birth). • Contact information (email address, telephone, residential address). • Information about education and work experience (curriculum vitae/CV).

Purpose of personal data processing

Based on applications, we will review compliance with the requirements we demand for individual job positions and prepare a selection of the most suitable candidates. The latter will be invited for personal interviews, possibly also additional skills and knowledge tests. Depending on job requirements, when personal characteristics are important or even decisive for performing certain tasks (e.g., communication skills, ability to work in a team, leadership abilities).

After the selection process, we will maintain the personal data of non-selected candidates who will allow us to store the submitted application and additional personal data acquired during the selection process in the database of candidates for work or employment at L-Tek d.o.o. for the purpose of possible future invitation to work or employment.

Personal data retention period

Personal data of candidates who will allow processing even after the completion of the selection process will be stored for a maximum of 24 months after the finalization of candidate selection for the published job position.

Who processes your personal data and to whom is it transmitted?

Personal data in the database of candidates for work or employment at L-Tek d.o.o. can be accessed by authorized employees at the controller and our contractual partners (personal data processors) and providers of web tools and applications for supporting automated processing of personal data in the database. L-Tek d.o.o. selects processors with necessary care, as privacy of both candidates who trust us and our customers in general is very important and crucial for mutual trust, and ensures that appropriate personal data protection is also agreed upon in mutual cooperation contracts.

Is there automated decision-making, including profiling?

No.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

Employees have the right under GDPR: • to be informed about their own personal data; • to rectification or completion of personal data; • to erasure of personal data when there is no longer a legal basis for storage or you have given personal consent; • right to restriction of personal data; • right to object – in cases where processing is carried out based on legitimate interest; • right to portability – in case of personal consent.

The controller will provide information about measures related to the processing of your personal data, taken at your request, in accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of GDPR, without undue delay and in any case within one month of receiving the request. Exceptionally, this period may be extended by a maximum of two additional months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. The controller will inform you in such cases within one month of receiving the request, together with reasons for the delay. If you submit the request by electronic means, the controller will provide information by electronic means where possible, unless you request otherwise.

If you wish to exercise the listed rights, you can contact the human resources department of L-Tek company at any time for assistance, to which you can also anonymously report any possible illegalities in the field of personal data protection at L-Tek d.o.o. at any time. Possibility of consent withdrawal

Candidates who have given consent for inclusion in the database and/or evaluation of certain aspects for the purpose of easier search for suitable employment or work can withdraw the given consent at any time during the one-year storage period by expressing their will in writing via email to: zaposlitev@l-tek.com or in writing to the registered office address L-Tek d.o.o., Cesta Miloša Kovačiča 2, 8310 Šentjernej.

Consent for personal data processing

The candidate guarantees the authenticity of data with their signature and gives consent to L-Tek d.o.o. to process the entered personal data as long as it is necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected – the needs of conducting the selection process and further employment procedure.

Consent for personal data processing – data storage

The candidate agrees and allows, by confirmation, that if the application cannot currently be accommodated, L-Tek d.o.o. may retain the given data in the candidate database for employment purposes for possible notification about job vacancies, for a period of 24 months, which runs from the date of form submission.
